The M7 Intake for the BMW Mini cooper S R53 provides the perfect performance modification for improved airflow helping to increase engine performance through providing colder air. The R53 engine bay suffers from a lot of heat soak especially when the engine is being pushed hard or in warm climates. The M7 Cold air intake helps to shield against this utilising direct cold air and isolating any warmer engine bay air trying to be pulled into the intake killing performance.
The velocity stack helps to ensure that when large volumes of cold air enter the intake, the airflow is smooth and consistent.
A black heat shield provided with the kit ensure a secure seal from the warm engine compartment helping to ensure only cold air is allowed to enter the combustion chamber.
Pressurized cold air is drawn from the cowel bellow the windshield preventing the need to cut into any areas of your car and allowing easy installation of the kit.
