One of the biggest issues with the mini engine bays is heat soak. What leads to huge power loss? Reduced cold air intake to the engine bay resulting in large heat soak. To allow increased power air fuel ratios need to be increased. The air needs to be cool as warm air will result in power loss as its much denser.
Wrapping your manifold will provide huge power advantages and the heat generated will be contained and prevented from leaking into the engine bay where you need as much cool air as possible to maintain high performance.
