SFI CRANK PULLEY WILL PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR COOPER S ENGINE
The SFI certified crank pulley for the Bmw mini cooper s is the perfect solution for preventing unwanted engine harmonics often generated as a result of increasing engine power and performance. Higher RPM ranges generate far more harmonics than lower but they can cause heavy wear and result in failure on the oil pump and engine bearings.
There have been many stock OEM crank pulley failures on the cooper s mini as the stock crank pulley uses a rubber mount to assist in the reduction of harmonics and due to the nature of rubber it does deteriorate with miles and age.
The SFI fluid gel design prevents harmonics at all levels of RPM range and as a result of the central inertia ring being surround by silicone gel the ring is allowed to float canceling out the result of harmonics. The crank pulley is black anodized and its performance is not affected by temperature changes.
