PRS Racing are proud to be able to supply a pair of Newman high performance camshafts for the BMW mini R56 Cooper S Turbo engine.
These camshafts will fit in the Gen 2 R56 1.6 litre N14 and N18 engines manufactured from 2007 onwards. Newman are one of the best high performance camshaft manufacturers for the BMW mini with extensive research and development having gone into these cams.
The Fast road Cooper s Turbo camshafts, provide much more power with regards to BHP, Torque and acceleration. If you are looking for a much more responsive mini then look no further as these cams will certainly tick the box!!!!!
Fitting these two camshafts into your l.6 turbo mini is a very cost effective way of increasing the power output, as it allows the valves to stay open much longer in-comparison to the stock camshafts. This allows more air / fuel to enter the cylinder resulting in an overall increase in power.
To achieve the full potential of the Newman camshafts capability's we always recommend that the car is re-mapped. However these two camshafts are a simple bolt on modification then will run quite happily with out any other modifications such as a re-map.
