If you have increased the power and torque sent though the engine then you are going to need to look at using forged pistons to help ensure that engine failure doesn't occur as a result of greater stress placed on stock components.
When Hp is increased so is the amount of heat generated by the engine. Stock pistons are not designed to take the heat generated, increasing the risks of engine failure due to weak internal components being over stretched.
