IS THE THUMPER ADJUSTABLE CAM GEAR NECESSARY FOR MY MINI?
Thumper Performance adjustable cam gear for the BMW mini allows that fine tuning element to any stock OEM or performance cam. An often over looked area, where power gains have been achieved between 5 - 6.5 WHP with just a STOCK camshaft goes to show how much a small component can make to any well modified mini performance engine.
Many people simply buy a high performance cam, bolt it on and off they go, but why not fit the adjustable cam gear at the same time to gain even MORE power and make the most of that high performance camshaft ? The adjustable timing gear comes with all of the necessary information to degree the cam to the exact position required.
If the thumper adjustable timing gear is purchased with a Crowler or Thumper cam then it will come already pre set and degreed specifically to your cam, allowing you to simply bolt the cam in and off you go.
