"Let's face it: The small opening in that stock plastic hood scoop just isn't delivering air to the intercooler the way you think it should. Don't worry, M7 has you covered once again. We're proud to bring you the M7 Vortex Scoop for the R53!
This Vortex Scoop replaces your stock hood scoop with a larger opening and more aggressive appearance. Vortex generators are placed on the surface of the scoop to enhance air flow rushing into the scoop's opening. This is the perfect upgrade for those not ready to change out their intercooler but want to make the most of what they already have under the hood. The M7 Vortex scoop will deliver more air than your stock hood scoop helping to keep intercooler and engine temperatures down.
As with all of our fiberglass scoops, the Vortex scoop comes unpainted with a black gel coat ready to be prepped and painted by your local paint shop.
M7 also offers the Vortex Scoop in a beautiful Carbon Fiber finish! This scoop is carefully made with a vacuum bagging procedure to ensure that only the highest quality and finish ends up on your R56 hood. The product is extremely light-weight and still offers all of the same cooling benefits of the fiberglass unit. This is the real deal, people!
