The XP12 has an extremely high initial bite and is capable of maintaining a solid bite at temperatures ranging from 250°F to 2000°F+ allowing a good degree of fade resistance to be maintained. The XP12 is the most rotor aggressive compound that Carbotech offer, however when compared to competition it is still very forgiving to the rotors and still produces 100% non corrosive dust.

The XP12 Carbotech pad is recommended for ultimate track day use allowing your BMW mini that edge and performance over others out there on the track, allowing braking to be left later and times to be reduced. It is not recommended for road use as a result of possible elevated noise levels and brake dust.
