These Bosch 550 cc injectors have been tailored and designed for ( 200 + hp ) high horse power mini applications. The 550cc fuel injectors have been extensively tested to ensure optimum results and performance from your modified mini.
Standard OEM mini fuel injectors are only rated at 340cc. They pump fuel at 80% duty cycle on a standard non modified mini. When your mini has been modified and power modds applied, the stock injectors will struggle to deliver fuel and more often end up working at 100% duty cycle , which means your mini maybe running lean resulting in possible extensive engine damage.
Bosch use stock OEM injectors and then re build them to ensure an individual spray pattern is maintained. This ensures through fuel atomization which results in a clean burn leading to smooth idle and drivability. Often many aftermarket squirting injectors are unable to achieve this.
We would always recommend a rolling road set up to ensure maximum efficiency and power gains are achieved specific to your mini and the tuning modifications applied.
