Have you ever taken your intercooler off your bmw mini cooper s? If your have then you will have noticed an oily residue particularly on the rubber boots.
The coating of oil is not harmful to the engine or the way it works but it does reduce performance and intercooler efficiency as it reduces the cooling of the air being drawn through the intercooler. The M7 oil catch can prevents the oily residue from affecting the performance of your mini. The catch can is CNC machined from aluminium and is an attractive addition to any worthy mini cooper s engine bay.
All hoses, screws, fixtures and fittings are supplied. The catch can comes with a magnetic oil drain plug in the base of the can to allow the excess oil the be drained as well as any unwanted metal fragments, A clear tube allows you to see how much oil has been collected. All hoses are black and unlike silicone will not absorb the oil over time and discolour.
