The Alta R53 Mini cooper s super charged tensioner stop has been designed to prevent expensive damage that can be caused when the supercharger and air conditioning belt eventually snaps as a result of age, increased levels of spirited driving and tough driving environments such as on track.
The Alta tensioner stop its quick and easy to install. All it requires is the engine to be jacked up on one side and then a single bolt removed, the tensioner put in place and then the bolt placed back into position and thats it. Some tensioner stops require the whole pullet tensioner to be removed. The Alta tensioner doesn't require this saving lots of time and labor.
