The Alta boost gauge adapter for the BMW Mini allows you to obtain an accurate pressure reading from the intake manifold to your boost gauge within the car. All you have to do is simply un-plug the MAP sensor connect the Alta adapter and re-connect the map sensor to the adapter and that's it. There is no need to make irreversible modifications to the intake manifold but drilling holes.
