Why Does My Mini Need A Catch Can
The r56 Direct injection engine benefits hugely from this simple catch can preventing harmful contaminants form entering the Oil breather system and contaminating the intake and inlet valves, resulting in a oily build up of sludge which is detrimental to the performance of the engine.Oily build up results in air flow restriction and loss of performance. Having the intake system cleaned is costly and time consuming.
